Brief:
Understanding Indian road traffic and also multiple elements on road associated to traffic as a system, and develop a feasible, efficient and innovative solution addressing the traffic issues with a non-interventional approach.
IRoad I NTraffic N OManagement V AT E Design Solution: Problems through virtual scenarios, persona and direct observations were observed. We Indians still rely on people rather than a machine, & all traffic problems caused are not always a human error. Due to bad urban planning in major cities, very little can be done to eradicate the traffic issues totally. So a Real-time Information System was designed to guide people on the road to make less error.
Problem Definition:
Major traffic issues identified: -Road side construction/maintenance -Road accidents. -Pedestrian Crossing at junctions. -Navigation of emergency service vehicles like ambulance, police, fire brigade, etc. through traffic.
