HAPPY COINCIDENCE

On a recent flight, I didn’t bring my own reading materials—a rare occurrence—but it worked out when I read the article about Sybil Jordan Hampton. It’s nice to hear the rest of the story. Job well done.

PAYING IT FORWARD

I read Tommy Tomlinson’s brilliantly written article on Sybil Jordan Hampton and wanted to thank you for keeping our history alive through these stories of struggle to triumph. Her perseverance in the “long game” is truly a strategy and level of maturity to behold. It serves as a great reminder for me to keep challenging the status quo to achieve greater success and equity in the work I do as the head of diversity and inclusion at a leading tech company. A heartfelt thank you to Sybil for enduring her sadness in order to create opportunities for the rest of us.

He has a unique way of captivating an audience, and that’s coming from someone who can read something for two minutes and then daydream about what’s for dinner. Thank you for giving great insight into RoseLynn’s work. It inspired me to
