Can Be Done

What a tremendous blessing we are experiencing here at the Southside church of Christ family! Brother Thomas and his staff are being led by GOD to guide us all to ‘commit ourselves to doing the work as we pursue holistic healing and wholeness ’ Each Wednesday night during this entire month, we have been exposed to the clinical and spiritual expertise possessed by the members of the Healing Minds Ministry Coupled with the Healing Minds Ministry, Southside Everywhere Ministry, Brother Evan Winston’s Sunday Morning June Classes, Brother Thomas’ June sermons we can certainly confess that we have received terrific strategies and tools to assist in our overcoming anger. Undeniably, GOD is to be praised for impacting and infilling the minds/hearts of each person and ministry efforts for spreading His Wisdom throughout our community/family!

So, let’s dedicate a few moments of meditation and gratitude to our GOD His Love and Care for us leads us in successfully in living according to His Purpose for each of our lives Lord, over the last few months, You have equipped us with means through Scriptures and through spoken and written lessons/lectures/classes aiding us with the ability(ies) to fulfill our destinies in this life And, this month, by Your Guidance, we are equipped in rejecting anger to overtake us as it did Cain, Saul, Jezebel, Jonah and other Biblical characters Father-GOD, we take this opportunity to thank You, in advance, for reminding and granting us admirable success in overcoming anger that seems prevalent in our lives.

Thank You for teaching us to effectively resist the evil one as we persistently decide to humble ourselves to You by telling You all that concerns/confuses/frightens/angers us as cited in James 4:7, Psalm 55:22 & 23b, and I Peter 5:6-7 (though this was expressed specifically to elders/pastors). For You directing our preachers/teachers to lovingly remind us to stay in contact and discussion with You, we are learning to profess/confess Psalm 55:23b “I/we trust in You!”

Lord, we can truly say to You and to ourselves that we are awake/woke to Your good and to our good due to our belief and acceptance that You are in us per the HolySpirit (Matthew 3:11, John 14:26, Acts 2:38). According to Your Word, You assure us that though things, thoughts and events in our lives may seem insurmountable to us, we do not have to worry about such getting the better of us. We are actually assured/guaranteed to navigate through anger and all negatives (and other circumstances/situations) according to Christ’s declaration shown in Mark 10:27.

You share Your Power with us, and You ensure our success as cited in Ephesians 1:3-14 (pay special attention to verse 14 regarding our spiritual assurance!). Your Divine Order is in us, Lord, and we believe it! We, now, thank You for the fact that we can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us!

Hallelujah, with You, it can be done, and it is done (Philippians 4:13, John 16:33)!
