VICTORIOUS OVERCOMER THROUGH FAITH

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world ” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding ]” (John 16:33 AMP)
Prior to making that assuring and encouraging statement to The Twelve, Jesus had spent a considerable amount of time preparing them for what was to come Yes, of course, they were confused and even dismayed with Jesus’ discussions about His impending death and subsequent resurrection. Yet, He also promised to send The Holy Spirit into them as their eternal Guide and Comforter
“The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin [by which it brings death] is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory [as conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord [always doing your best and doing more than is needed], being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not futile nor wasted [it is never without purpose].” (I Corinthians 15:56-58 AMP)
In that Scripture, Apostle Paul’s letter to the Corinthian church, reassures Christ’s followers/ members that victory over the power of sin in their lives was, in fact, theirs due to their belief and faith in their Master Deliverer, Jesus Christ! Paul encouraged them to remain steadfast in their love for and dedication to Christ Jesus and His precepts! Victory was already theirs because of Christ! Sisters and Brothers, thanks be to GOD, those words hold true for us today! Each Christ believer, lover, obedient follower, fully committed to Him in this era Is a Victorious Overcomer! (See the Amplified Bible Version of Romans 12 )
“For the [true] love of God is this: that we habitually keep His commandments and remain focused on His precepts And His commandments and His precepts are not difficult [to obey] For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God]. Who is the one who is victorious and overcomes the world? It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God.” (I John 5:3-5 AMP)
Beloved(s), you are truly a victorious overcomer because of Christ! Your faith in Him as the Son of GOD Who Loves you so much that He has covered your sins and mistakes is what fuels your Overcomer status!
Dear Christ-Sibling(s), believe it and live it each day forever because He Is with you every step of the way (Hebrews 13:5; Joshua 1:5)!
Thank You Lord for Your faith in us which guides our faith in You!
