Myth & Legend
Family / Group
Art, theatre, folk, punk, poetry, laughter, pottery, jazz, dance and choirs…this is Southport Festival. Over three days, Southport bursts into life with a huge programme of art and culture splashed throughout its venues and open spaces. Memories are waiting to be made at Wesley Street’s annual festival. Interactive street drawing and dress up for little ones create unforgettable experiences. Music, dance performances and laughter will fill the street. Music will pour from venues throughout the town centre, with jazz orchestras, flamenco guitar, folk, jive and pop punk bands just some of the excellent free performances coming over 3 days and nights, all headlined by Remedy’s stage in Town Hall Gardens. Other highlights for 2018 include ballroom dancing magic with Giovanni Pernice at The Atkinson and a town wide myths and legend theme with Magical Mermaid gardens and a Viking Long Boat
