t’s never too early to start holiday planning. When it comes to preparing those special treats, Eileen Moran has a tradition of making her Mini Cheesecakes. The resident of the 1400 block of South Newkirk Street said this dessert, which she learned from her mother-in-law Dot, is great for parties. For those looking to make something a little bigger, this same recipe also can be used for a 9-inch pie. Simply place the cherries around the edge and sprinkle some cinnamon on top. Bake the pie for 30 minutes at 350. SPR
INGREDIENTS:

2 8-ounce packages of Philadelphia cream cheese at room temperature 3 eggs, beaten 2/3 cup of sugar
TOPPING: 1 cup of sour cream 3 teaspoons of sugar 1 teaspoon of vanilla Maraschino cherries
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Beat the cream cheese, eggs and sugar together. Be sure the cream cheese is soft. Use a candy funnel to fill each of the mini-muffin liners almost to the top of three mini-muffin pans. Bake for 13 minutes. Let cool for 30 minutes. Combine all of the topping ingredients together except for
