Candidates sought for Miss Addison 2018

The community is ready to begin its annual hunt for Miss Addison 2018. Three females, between the ages of 17-21 will be awarded a Village of Addison Scholarship for the 2018-19 academic year based on the eligibility/requirements. Miss Addison will receive a $2,000 scholarship, First Runner-Up will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship and Second Runner-Up will be awarded a $500 scholarship. Application deadline is June 8, 2018. The scholarship recipients will be announced during the Miss Addison Pageant on June 27. In order to be eligible, the candidate must be a female between the ages of 17-21 and must be a resident within the corporate limits of the Village of Addison. Applications must include the following: 1. Completed and signed scholarship application 2. Essay 3. Photo 4. Signed eligibility and requirement sheet 5. Transcript or last Report Card, including your current GPA 6. Letter of recommendation • Candidates must be available on Tuesday, June 19 at 6 p.m. for a Meet & Greet with the Pageant Committee and Judges • Candidates must be also be available on Wednesday, June 27 for the actual Pageant which begins at 7 p.m. at Medinah Shrine Center, 550 Shriners Dr. in Addison. Candidates must arrive by not later than 4:30 p.m. Applications can be obtained at the ACCI office.
