We hope this change will create additional spaces for you to park. Charges will apply between 7am and 7pm and are designed to have minimal impact on our customers but deter other use. If you are calling into the box office, up to 30 minutes will be 50p. A longer lunch or coffee stop of up to two hours will be £1.50. Paul Jones, Dave Kelly, Tom McGuinness, Rob Townsend and Gary Fletcher. Many of the Blues Band’s 21st century fans weren’t even born when these five virtuosos, already music industry veterans, decided to fly in the face of musical fashion in 1979 and form a band ‘just to play the blues’. About 20 albums and thousands of gigs later, they’ve earned a reputation around the world as one of the finest exponents of the blues tradition in all its forms. Community & Education Baby Beats & Mini Maestros This is the first step in your child’s musical development and will begin to build on their recognition of pitch, rhythm, melody and tempo. With the help of puppets, toys, percussion and familiar tunes, musical concepts are introduced. THE PALACE YOUTH COMPANY NEEDS YOU! The Palace Youth Company rehearses every Tuesday during term time from 6 – 9pm. The sessions are predominantly drama based but do also involve some movement and singing, and the group works together to create and devise their own ideas and performance pieces, including working towards an annual show held at the Palace Theatre. If you are aged between 16 and 19 and would like to join the Palace Youth Company, please email Chloe at chloed@southendtheatres.org.uk to arrange an audition.

The Palace Writers’ Group is open to anyone over the age of 16 with an interest and enthusiasm for writing. The group meets at the Cliffs Pavilion every Wednesday evening from 7pm. The writing styles of the members vary from short plays to poetry and comedy, and there are opportunities to share writing.

To make payment easy for you we take MasterCard, Visa and Maestro, cash and cheques (payable to Southend Theatres Ltd) and our own HQ Theatres Gift Vouchers. We are happy to hold reservations for three working days. For group bookings of over 20 seats we are able, for most shows, to delay payment until three months before the performance (one month for pantomime). Prices within this brochure include a per ticket booking fee. Bookings of 10 or more tickets for the same show are exempt* and will need to be made via our Box Office (by ‘phone or in person). A £2.00 additional charge will be made if mailing out the tickets. You may find that it helps speed your transaction if you have your credit/debit card details to hand when contacting the Box Office. *exemption does not apply to certain shows

EASY ON YOUR POCKET We always strive to ensure that our tickets are competitively priced for all shows and are usually cheaper than most West End venues. We are delighted to offer discounts where we can for:• Senior Citizens (aged 60 and over) • Children under 16 (tickets are free for children under two) • Students • ES40 holders • L I Adv holders In addition, if you are a Priority Patron you not only get four days priority booking for most shows but also get additional discounts for some performances and for some of our food and drink offerings (details of the scheme can be obtained from our website and Box Office). If you are booking groups of more than 10 tickets you will qualify for discounts of 10% or even 20% on normal price tickets for certain shows if you purchase all the tickets at the same time.
