GEITH Geith offers a wide range of heavy excavator buckets ideal for landclearing applications or general construction site work. The company’s heavy-duty bucket lineup includes excavator digging and grading buckets, both of which are suitable for light or heavy work environments due to their robust design and fittings created to match excavators perfectly. All heavy-duty Geith excavator buckets maximise breakout force and capacity to ensure optimum productivity. Designed for use with excavators weighing between 8 and 75 tons (7.3 to 68 tonnes), Geith heavy-duty buckets are available in a variety of sizes with the largest model boasting a capacity of 5-1/2 cubic yards. They all feature deep profile for high capacity and low tip radius for greater digging power; dual radius shape to increase heel clearance, and reduce drag and wear; reinforced diamond folded wear plates to provide extra strength and protection; reduced weight with high quality, abrasion resistant material; high-strength side wear plates and bottom wear straps for improved wear resistance; and mounting brackets that meet or exceed OEM specifications. Geith also offers heavy-duty high capacity buckets with deeper profiles to increase productivity in loading and material handling applications, as well as severe-duty rock buckets designed for extra digging applications. MINNICH Founded in 1968, Minnich Manufacturing will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2018. The company will display a wide range of solutions for road, airport runway and general construction. Among them will be the A-1 Series of versatile single-gang, on-grade dowel pin drills. Contractors can configure all four Minnich A-1 Series models to drill four ways - horizontally, vertically, into a wall or six inches from a corner - eliminating the need to purchase additional equipment or conversion kits. Plus, the A-1 Series makes repositioning easy with the units that can fit into 48-, 36-, 30- or 24-in cutouts with the wheels on. All models in the lineup feature adjustable drill height and depth. The Minnich A-1 Series drills are not only versatile, but they are also operator-friendly and low-maintenance. Pistol-grip controls are simple for operators to use and minimise dry firing, which can lead to increased maintenance and repair costs and a shorter drill lifespan. Operators also can appreciate a conveniently placed foothold directly under the handle for increased leverage when drilling each hole. Routine maintenance for A-1 Series drills is quick and easy: simply tighten all bolts daily, and ensure that the drill is properly lubricated. A-1 Series models include: A-1-48 with a cutout width of 48 in, and a maximum hole depth of 18 in; A-1-36 with a cutout width of 36 in, and a maximum depth of 10 in; A-1-30 with a cutout width of 30 in, and a maximum depth of 10 in; and A-1-24 with a cutout width of 24 in, and a maximum depth of 7 in. Minnich will also highlight its HV-2 Series of hydraulic paving vibrators, which are ideal for most slip-form applications. Minnich paving vibrators are designed to withstand the rigours of the industry.

For mainline paving, a block isolator offers better shear spring rate, less area for concrete build-up and a greater rubber-to-steel bond area. This translates to less end-of-day cleanup time, reduced transfer of vibration to the paver and less wear on the isolators. A two-isolator setup can fit into tighter areas for barrier wall moulds. The hydraulic hose features an abrasion-resistant coating to help reduce vibrator failure. A specially designed Minnich three-gear motor provides hydrostatic balance for longer motor life and greater starting torque. n
