Saturday, April 8 @ 8 PM With artists from Alaska and Greenland, Pamyua showcases Inuit culture though music and dance performance. The show is a platform to share indigenous knowledge and history. Often described as “Inuit Soul Music,” Pamyua has discovered their own genre. “Pamyua” (pronounced bum-yo-ah) is a Yup’ik Inuit word meaning “encore” or “do it again.”

Wednesday, April 12 @ 7 PM Safe Space for the Curious Carnivore Opening musical performance by electronica music star and notable vegan Moby, followed by a screening of the documentary The Last Pig by Emmy Awardwinning filmmaker Allison Argo. Friday, April 14 @ 8 PM The Urban Renewal Project is a Los Angeles based band that uses instruments of a bygone era to create a signature sound that blurs the boundaries between soul, jazz, and hip hop. The group features a big band horn section, a singer, and a rapper who perform upbeat originals, as well as fresh interpretations of jazz standards to recent hits.

Friday, April 21 @ 8 PM In the more than forty years he has been performing on the concert stage, American pianist Perahia is the recipient of two Grammy awards for his recordings of Chopin’s complete Etudes and Bach’s English Suites Nos. 1, 3, and 6, and numerous Grammy nominations. JOSÉ RIZO’S MONGORAMA
Friday, April 28 @ 8 PM Mongorama a Latin-jazz ensemble formed by KJazz 88.1 radio personality José Rizo (host of jazz on the Latin Side). The Grammy-nominated group explores the early Mongo Santamaria charanga-jazz material of the 1950s and early 1960s, and refreshes it with a modern perspective.
