This multi-cultural, scripture-based literacy curriculum was developed by the American Bible Society in conjunction with the Bank Street College of Education. The program has been designed to equip children and adults with necessary literacy tools as well as character-building scriptures for daily living. Each 28-page storybook has full-color illustrations that draw the reader into the story. Its target audience is children struggling at a first through third grade reading level.

Students will be able to learn to play an instrument through private lessons from our accomplished instructors. We routinely offer lessons in a large variety of instruments as well as piano and voice. Please contact the Arts & Education Department at 574.233.9471 ext. 2208 to find out what is available.

Looking to Volunteer? This program is designed for the non-professional reading tutor, providing easy to follow lesson plans for each Bible story. Visit our website at www.mykroc.org/volunteer for information on how to volunteer.

Children 12 and under are invited to join this Youth Choir. Students will learn to sing in parts from a variety of Christian musical selections and musical genres. The choir is led by experienced local musicians, and will prepare for the divisional Singing Company Festival in the spring.
