South Bank benefits from fantastic transport connections within Zone 1

National Rail Waterloo, Waterloo East, Blackfriars (South Bank exit) and Charing Cross are the closest mainline rail stations.

London Underground Underground stations serving the area include Waterloo, Southwark, Lambeth North, Blackfriars and Embankment.

Car Parking As well as meter bays located around the streets of South Bank there are also a number of car parks including the Hayward Gallery, Hungerford Bridge, National Theatre, the Union and Cornwall road car parks.

Bus There are many routes into Waterloo including the Riverside Bus (RV1) which links over thirty attractions on its route between Tower Bridge and Covent Garden.

River Services KPMG Thames Clippers services operate to and from London Eye, Embankment and Blackfriars Piers – as marked on the map in this booklet.

Walking It takes approximately 40 to 50 minutes to walk from the London Eye to Tower Bridge if you follow the Thames Path.
