2013-2014 SEASON Southampton Philharmonic Choir open their season with a thrilling performance of Mendelssohn’s Elijah. Prophecies, false gods and chariots of fire combine to create a vividly dramatic story. Then, get into the Christmas spirit with an evening of seasonal carols, mulled wine and festive cheer. March brings an elegant concert of Mozart and Britten, including the ever-popular Mozart Clarinet Concerto. The season finale takes place in June, with a programme of beautiful French music in the stunning setting of Winchester Cathedral. More information: southamptonphil.org
