Performing Arts BTEC Extended Diploma Location: DG | Duration: 2 Years | Level: 3 Are there any entry requirements? This course is ideal for people who have an interest in performing arts and wish to pursue a career in this field. To enrol on this course you will need to attend an audition and interview and have a minimum of four GCSEs at Grade C or equivalent e.g. Performing Arts BTEC Level 1 Diploma.
What will I study? You will gain a broad experience of performing and develop a range of skills needed to pursue a career in the performing arts. You will study six mandatory units plus eleven optional units over two years. The mandatory units you will study are: Performance workshop Performing arts business The historical context of performance Rehearsing for performance Performing to an audience
What can I do after this course? On successful completion of this course you could progress onto HND or Degree courses in performing arts at university. You could also find employment in the performing arts industry.
