Review Of Panasonic SC-BTT775E(SC-BTT775) – 3D Full HD 1080p Blu Ray Home Cinema Surround Sound System with Wifi The impact of the new Panasonic SC-BTT775E home cinema is immediate as soon as you feel the weight and physically un box the system.

With its 4 tallboy speakers and substantial sub woofer, you know that you are in for something a little more powerful than the norm. A super slim attractive header unit is the brains of the Panasonic SC-BTT775 system. Blu Ray is catered for with the usual upscaling 1080p for normal DVDs, 1000w of power, SD/USB slot, IPOD and IPhone dock, ARC (Audio Return Circuit) for such enabled tvs and Viera link, digital optical in for older widescreen models or a satellite box, twin hdmi for added convenience (HDMI 1.4 enabled for 3d), wireless (wifi and DLNA) for internet applications, skype via viera cast and plug and play easy setup. The speakers are the tallboy floor standing with multiple drivers to cover a broad frequency range, and to get to the murky deeps of some of the more complicated movie soundtracks a substantial downward firing sub woofer finishes the deal. As can be seen this is a feature packed system that addresses some of the short comings of previous models. Most notably the inclusion of 2 hdmi inputs for connecting a games bundle or cable box and wireless ready straight out of the box, so you can be watching you tube or BBC iPlayer in no time.

The Blu Ray performance on our test tv the ever so brilliant Viera TXP50GT30, is to the usual exceptional Panasonic standard. The Panasonic SC-BTT775EBK recreates superb imagery, with skin tones and complex scenes losing none of the detail. The busy Matrix battle scene between Neo and Agent Smith in the otherwise dull final Matrix revelations seems flawless in reproduction. No unusual artefacts or inaccuracies with rich colour textures and brilliant blacks. The Panasonic SC-BTT775 audio performance is similarly scintillating. The drive of soundtracks still retains its subtleties whilst really driving the hammer home when needed. The dialogue centre speaker is particularly good and notable over some of its competitors with absolute precision, even with quieter dialogue that can file:///C:/Temp/Untitled-2.html

sometimes be lost in some of the all in one systems. To be fully convinced try the dialogue rich Kings Speech, which is brilliantly recreated on Blu Ray and achieves a near lossless audio performance via the Panasonic SCBTT775 and TXP50GT30 partnership. 3d is similarly reproduced. Again aided by the brilliant TXP50GT30 hdtv, we see an ultra engineered reproduction of all material, with Avatar on 3d producing stunning panning shots that are devoid of 3d cross talk or unwanted jerkiness. As an all round performer the Panasonic SCBTT775EBK is the real deal of surround home theatre systems, and is going to need some serious electronics or serious money on separates to outperform. With the ipod docking station allowing great convenience for playing your favourite music, (please note that playing your favourite, Paul Wellar or Metallica in surround sound really doesn`t cut it – Stereo mode please) and ease for connecting off board kit, and the option to make the rear speakers wireless this is a multi talented home theatre system that is bound to fly off the shelves.
