SUNDAY IN THE PARKALLÉE TAKEAWAY

7

Sunday in the Park was reinvented this year to Sunday throughout the Park with a beautifully orchestrated drivethru beginning with a pass through the restored gates at the end of Belle Meade Boulevard, pairs of mounted police and bagpipers, and a welcome from Nashville’s consummate party greeter Bill Forrester. Volunteers delivered an incredible boxed lunch from Kristen Winston through one’s car window, and guests were then free to assemble as they so desired at one of the Park’s many shelters or in picnic areas of their creation. The 600 participants helped to benefit their beloved Friends of Warner Parks and its over 3,000 acres of hiking and horse trails. (October 25, 2020)
