lindy roberts sport administrator | fifth season

Beginning her fifth season as a sport administrator with the men’s and women’s gymnastics squads is Lindy Roberts. Roberts was promoted to Associate Athletics Director for Event Management in 2011. Her job duties include overseeing all aspects of events management and facilities for all 21 OU sports while also serving as liaison and tournament director for all Big 12 and NCAA Championships hosted by the Sooners.

Roberts received her undergraduate degree in kinesiology from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1999 and earned a graduate degree in education from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2002. A member of the OU Athletics Department since August of 2000, Roberts worked with the women’s basketball team for one season before joining the administrative side of athletics.

jenn richardson athletic trainer | eighth season

Responsible for the daily care, treatment, rehab and prevention of injuries for the men’s and women’s gymnastics programs, Jennifer Richardson enters her eighth year as an athletic trainer at the Oklahoma.

served as the athletic trainer for the softball team. The Hamburg, N.Y. native, has also served as the athletic trainer for the women’s soccer and women’s basketball teams at St. Mary’s College of California. She also worked with the 2005 and 2006 national championship women’s gymnastics teams at the University of Georgia.

Richardson earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from West Virginia University and obtained a master of arts degree in health studies/ sports medicine health care from the University of Alabama, where she

tiffany byrd sports nutrition | first season

Tiffany Byrd landed at OU as the Sooners’ first Director of Sports Nutrition in 2013. Byrd educates student-athletes on the importance of good nutrition and dietary habits in relation to their daily lives and athletic performance. She also works in conjunction with the staff at Oklahoma’s new state-of-the-art Sam Bradford Training Table, located in Headington Hall. oklahoma women’s gymnastics

Byrd arrived at Oklahoma after stints at Oregon, Alabama and Murray State. She was previously the Director of Sports Nutrition at Baylor before accepting the same title at Oklahoma. Byrd received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska in nutrition, fitness and health promotion and her master’s in human nutrition from the University of Alabama. She was a member of the NCAA Championship gymnastics team at Alabama as well as the Nebraska gymnastics team.
