Integrating photographs and textiles, the exhibition runs from June 23 to July 14 at the Suth Shore Gallery at 2046 Otter Point Road. Anita Sinner is an assistant professor of Art Education at Concordia University, Montreal. A resident of Sooke, she has been an exhibiting artist in the region for over a decade. South Shore Gallery hours, Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

ased on a series of images of Roche Cove created over eight months, “Seasons� draws on repetition as a method of inquiry to explore the relationship between identity and place. With a conceptual framework that “repetition changes nothing in the object repeated, but does change something in the mind which con-

templates it,� (Deleuze 1994), the same perspective is represented in photographs and fibre art, inviting viewers to trace qualities of

stillness and movement in an idyllic West Coast landscape. The assemblege is an encounter with the moods of Roche Cove,
