2010 proved to be my best year ever in real estate.....with over $3.5 MILLION in home sales I couldn't have asked for better. But I will! In keeping with the high standards I hold for myself and some exciting new changes in staff, internet marketing, and the incorporation of new technology I already know that 2011 will far exceed 2010. But how did this year stack up? Well I always say it's all in the numbers. When I compared 2009 with 2010 I saw slight improvements, but more so I saw stability, which is so important to the recovery of any real estate market.

Exciting News New Website -The website is now being hosted by a new company and I'm very pleased with the changes to that site. It is currently in its final stages of development and will go live within a week or two. It is in an easier to read format and offers some new features as well that I think buyers and sellers alike will enjoy. Check it out soon!

QR Codes Do you recognize the code above? If not, you will be seeing more of these everywhere you go soon. It is a QR code...which stands for Quick Response code and it is basically a bar code that can be scanned by your smart phone using a code reader app that can be downloaded for free. When you scan a QR code with your phone, it will read the code and take you to a web site for more information, a special promotion, etc. The one above will take you to the mobile website and from there you can view listings and search the site. In 2011 I plan to incorporate these codes into my flyers and signs and other mailers which will drive traffic to your listings. I can tailor a QR code to take the person scanning it directly to your home's information! There are so many ways we can incorporate this technology...stay tuned!

Vacation On February 5th I will be leaving for Florida for my family vacation. We are looking forward to some warm weather and sunshine.
