T H E ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATORY iniside an abandoned basalt quarry, near Tindaya. This island has an important astronomical legacy, since prehispanic times the old aborigines used to look up to the sky from the sacred Mountain. Witness of this are the astroarqueological remains that are left on the mountain, “Podomorfos”, feet shaped engraved on roocks and addressed to specific stars and constellations. As part of the Canarias’ observatories network and Starlight Fundation, This project rescues this legacy and gives the community and tourists a astronomical park to meet the firmament.

α FTC225 A PAT H T H R O U G H T H E S TA R S.

After defining what elements of the universe are the most interesting and coherent to discover from the observatory, a device is created, a Copernican machine to be able to study in three dimensions the trajectories of these interesting points of the universe. This responds to a necesity of limmiting only these points since the amount of elements and astronomical moments that can be observed in the universe is infinite. With this device you can determine the optimal position in the quarry for the observation of each of these elements and astronomical moments. A path with a specific itinerary is defined on the floorplan of the quarry, a timeline that starts at the upper part of the crater, getting small glimpses of the space untill the viewer arrives to the bottom of the park, where the full sky its seen on the reflection of the water that lies on the oasis at the bottom of a black and dark crater.

The main program is a Metro station for the whole metro rail of Rotterdam, but the station holds other program like circulation facilities as a Pedestrian and bike access ramps from the different neighbourhoods, taxi and bus terminal, local samll scale parkings for bikes, an indoor botanic garden on the main hall, indoor caffes and restaurants.

At the same time, the metro station not only connects the different neighbourhoods phisically but allso socially, by different social’ sports and activities facilities, as a fitness court. The activation of the waterfront on such a privileged location is mandatory by a water square, a sapace designed to be able to storage water on storm periods.

THE CONCEPT I. D. E. A. D I S T R I C T

All ideas have beginnings and many are developed and change so many times. In this district where new ideas are always valued and importan wed like to showcase that process which all of your ideas come from. From sketch paper to used-up pen and pencils, we recycle them into a puclic art display in the form of the word I.D.E.A. But what’s more important than the start of an idea is the finish and so we provided an array of options to display, and to discuss new ideas; from moving platforms to create ideal venues for performance and discussion to rotational and storable panes for display of new projects and artwork. This is our IDEA district park.

BTNZ 64 Was a personal project developed in MADRID, in an old building of 1974. The plans, building contract and site building direction was developed by SONSOLES MASIÁ. It is about a small apartment near Madrid downtown, two bedrooms and a

diaphanous space that

includes the kitchen, livingroom, hall and terrace. The apartment has great light diring the whole day because of the good orientation

and spaces.

This project

was

developed

with ALEZ Architects. The client´s instructions are to increase the area of the houses as much as possible and to create an open-plan design on the ground floor, where the dining-room and kitchen will be inter-connected and will look out onto the wide garden. Also making a loft conversion and to incorporate the master bedroom plus an en-suite at loft level. The result will be an increase of more than 20% in the property’s usable area.

T h e project is a 7- storey building with 12 apartments on a hill in Iladalen with an exclusive rooftop garden for all the residents. The site is open and the apartments will have a view over the valley and/ or south towards the Oslo Fjord. The rooftop layout and some comercial floorplans were made during the time I was working for REIULF RAMSTAD ARKITEKTER in Oslo. Collaborating on this project was an interesting experience, hand by hand with the senior architects in charge of the project.

T h e watercolor sketches of the project Summer Villa in Mallorca and the search of the ideal plot that meets the client requirements. The project is for a single, detached, family holliday house. The client has appointed ALEZ Architecture & Interiors to look for a plot and to proceed with a concept design proposal and feasibility study. The house is conceived as a place in which to enjoy the sun, family life and relaxation, this construction seeks openness in every possible sense.

T h e client required a whole new room with high ceilings and the important presence of a big bookshelf. This is a interior design project which renderings were developped with Vray and photoshop. The client was giving a big importance to a designed and very functional minibar embedded on the library. The furniture design and interior project was developed by ALEZ Architecture and Interiors. Lighting design was significant hand by hand with the rendering process.

RRA. The experience of the historical farm should be conserved and reinforced, and the new construction will be a constituent part of the whole with a site-specific architecture of good housing. An architectural concept provides a coherent impression of the interactions between new and old, architecture and landscape. The sketch proposal underlines a clear architectural gestalt and proximity to the farm's timber construction, as opposed to alienating formalism.

Sket ching is my key to relax and internalise memories. I realised how a drawing can capture the ambient, the smell, the sounds, the company and even the conversations you can hear while you are drawing. Is your very personal point of view. I learned that sketching brought me in some kind of trance, into a world where sounds and other sense stimulus goes straight into my subconscious. Those feelings get print into the drawing and I can almost have them again when I look back at the finished sketch.

A

s

part of my Fine Arts degree, I had multiple video subjects, from video editing and filming, to short movies and musicvideo to Videoart performance arts. The selected piece is one of this commisions made for one subject. It is just a succession of aesthetic videos filmed and edited in just one day. The production was filmed with a Canon6D and edited with Adobe Premiere and After Effects. You can find more accademic videos on the same youtube channel.

From painting to sculpture and other fine arts disciplines, the fine arts degree gave me a special sensivity about visual art. Having a classical and contemporanean arts degree also provide me the tools to solve, to create and to comunicate through fascinating and aestetic ways. Beeing painting and sculpture my favorites, I use painting as a past time hobby, but everyday its part the way I work. As an example, my architecture final thesis was deeply influenced by Land Art. It is all part of the same thing.
