AREA HIGHER EDUCATION HIGHLIGHTS Arizona State University Arizona State University, 83,000 students proud, won the distinction 2016 as “the #1 most innovative college in the U.S., above #2 Stanford and #3 MIT! Their 5 campuses offer 250 undergraduate and 350 graduate degrees. Campus settings range from the residential “College Town” in Tempe (58,000 students), the ASU/UofA Graduate/ Medical complex in downtown Phoenix, the Polytechnic Campus in Mesa, and the Thunderbird School of International Management and the West Valley Campus. The burgeoning Graduate/Medical studies complex in central Phoenix, a combination of ASU’s health sciences and UofA’s Medical school provides practical experience for students in world class treatment and research facilities such as the Barrows Institute, M.
