The PROVIDECK combines the two worlds of supermarket and traditional provision. On the one hand it takes the convenience and layout of the modern supermarket. And on the other hand it takes the living, sharing and interaction of the traditional provision.
With the space in combination with the dying professions and its quality of values living within our daily life. It create a lively neighbourhood with a learning of each process of lifestyle. values
Singapore loses its shine on its heritage. Where the main focus of Singapore heritage is on Professions.
Traditional Provision Hawker Street Baber Knife & Scissor Sharpening Rattan Weaver Peranakan Costume Maker
Singapore have a drasmatic decrease of Traditional Provision shop and being replaced by Supermarket. The Traditional Provision is a place with its values toward their customer as their priority of their service. And the supermarket is a place where effiency and convenience for the customer is the priority. The quality of the Traditional Provision values have been deem down with only a fews left in Singapore.
There were some physical reasons that have caused these trades to dies out. Modernization, time consuming, competition and technology are some of the main factors why we are losing these trades.
The Provideck is design as a learning and interacting space for the residence. To experience living from the very basic of farming to food, making to product. Every little process of making creates a understanding behind the hardship of the product and people.

Arllery is an arts office within a gallery. There is plenty of art gallery in singapore but there isn’t an office that inspired the people that have been working behind the art gallery. The furnitures is designed in a cursive manner which is inspired by Frank Gehry as his design is usually asymmetrical. The cursive furnitures help to benefit the workers health as they are given the choice of leisure, and the choice of where they want to work. Using glass will allow the room to have plenty of lights, which is both environmental friendly and also give the people a feeling of an open space. Arllery also have a public library, art creative room and a Platform room where they can practice in the platform room, read up on all the knowledge about arts in the public library.
