LETTER FROM THE PUBLISHER
Greeting Neighbors and Friends,
hhh, isn’t it beautiful outside? A hint of cool air in the mornings and evening. Sure, it’s hotter than heck by 10am, but still it’s a wonderful tease. My neighbor already had all her fall decorations out by September 10th, making the house smell wonderful and feel cozy. I believe she lights her fireplace too (with the air turned way down). She REALLY
likes the holidays, so she starts very early. For the November issue we would love some of your favorite holiday recipes, photos of Thanksgivings past and all photos and announcements you had during October. We so much enjoy all the pictures coming in. For those who really want to know, October 16th is Sweetest Day and October 24th is Motherin-Law Day. Aren’t those one in the same? Enjoy the weather, put up your fall decorations and buckle up for a fun filled holiday season. It’s coming fast!

Find fitness and focus with yoga at Meadow Pointe
Every Wednesday evening at 6:45, the Meadow Pointe Yoga Club meets in the MP1 Clubhouse for an hour or so of vinyasa flow yoga. Yoga, an ancient form of physical meditation, and an excellent form of exercise that incorporates strength, flexibility, and mental concentration. By linking the breath to movements and working through a series of postures, yoga practitioners work their muscles as well as their minds. After class, it is not unusual to feel both invigorated and calm. A typical Meadow Pointe yoga class can be strenuous, especially for those who think yoga is “easy.” We spend a lot of time stretching and building flexibility, but it’s much more than that. We also work on balance and strength—and most leave sweating! But don’t let that scare you--classes can be personalized for the individual. In other words, there are modifications and intensifications for the different poses. At the end of class, the most important pose is “sivasana” or “final relaxation,” a time to let the body assimilate all the challenges we explored during class. Many thanks to the Meadow Pointe Community Council for their generous donation of yoga mats, blocks, and straps, allowing beginners to participate fully in the classes without investing in their own equipment until they are sure that yoga is a good fit. The classes are free or by donation. Email email@example.com for more information. Page 6

Q Who governs the CDD? The CDD is governed by a five-member Board of Supervisors elected initially by the property owners. Eventually, the Board will he elected by majority vote of the resident electors in the community. A professional manager implements the policies of the Board.
Q How are CDD services financed? The CDD issues Special Assessment Revenue Bonds to finance community infrastructure. Generally, Community Development Districts assess each property owner a yearly capital debt service assessment to pay back those bonds. In the case of the CDD a significant portion of this capital assessment will be prepaid by the developer at the time of closing. In addition, to maintain the facilities of the community and administer the CDD, the CDD conducts a public hearing each year at which it adopts an operating and maintenance budget. All residents pay for a share of the maintenance of the CDD improvements through this annual assessment.

WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY?
Because our award-winning surgeons train other bariatric surgeons. Because our hospital is the training center for the Southeast U.S. Because you won’t pay a single cent in program fees. Because we offer “My LAP-BAND Journey”online support. If you’re ready for a surgical solution to weight loss, look what Pasco Regional can do for you. Not only do our surgeons train other bariatric surgeons in this procedure, but our hospital is the area training center for revisional LAP-BAND® surgeries. Here, you’ll never pay a program fee, yet other hospitals charge $2,000. Also, we provide post-surgery support.
Why the LAP-BAND system? - Because it’s the most popular band surgery in the U.S. - Because most cases are covered by insurance. - Because financing is available when needed. Ask for LAP-BAND by name at Pasco Regional. Because it’s that important.

Pointe News Pet Page
If your pet goes astray... Small tip: Try the Power of Scent Try placing a recently worn piece of clothing outside. Animals have a keen sense of smell and familiar smells can bring them home. For indoor cats, place their litter box outside. Most dogs and cats that end up lost have no identification. They could be more easily returned if they did! Be sure your dog and cat have up-to-date identification tags on at all times. Include the pet’s name and the phone numbers where someone can be reached. Do it today! Identification tags are inexpensive. Remember, if your pet has a collar and identification, strangers will be more likely to step in and aid your lost animal. Cats too! Purchase a special “break-away” collar with a built in elastic for cats. Should your cat become caught by the collar (for example on a tree branch) the collar will pull off and prevent choking. As well as a collar and tags, consider having your pet tattooed or microchipped. This can be done at the same time your pet is spayed or neutered.

Are You Offering The Best for Your Child? Larry Bigel 813-907-6363 email@example.com The
decisions you make to enhance your child’s development, no matter how trivial they seem can significantly impact the future of your child’s well being. Is your child shy? Does he have trouble with Math? Is she smart academically, but has difficulty expressing herself? Does she succumb easily to peer pressure? Does he have trouble focusing? There are a lot of different activities that can help your child overcome any of these issues. However, ONLY ONE of them has been scientifically proven to significantly improve the quality of your child’s life with ALL OF THESE ISSUES.
MEADOW Pointe NEWS
Learning how to play music is the ONLY activity that has been proven to help children achieve their maximum potential in life physically, socially, emotionally, spiritually, ethically, and academically. If you believe me, that’s great. I can recommend a program that will be most beneficial in enhancing your child’s development. If you don’t believe me, that’s ok. I’d be happy to send you a written article that contains an abundance of substantiated evidence as to how learning to play music is the best activity that will improve your child’s quality of life.
