FOLLOW WillFredd Theatre in association with Arts & Disability Ireland presents humorous and moving stories from the Irish Deaf community through sound, light, Irish Sign Language and traditional story telling. Winner of the Spirit of the Fringe Award 2◊11, this is the first piece of Irish theatre created for both a Deaf and Hearing audience. OUT OF THE MARVELLOUS Presented at Solstice Arts Centre in collaboration with the National Craft Gallery and Poetry Ireland, Out of the Marvellous is co-curated by Maureen Kennelly and Ann Mulrooney. The exhibition traces the connections and shared sources of inspiration between poetry and visual art, through selected pairings of poets and makers. NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO, THERE YOU ARE Mark Durkan presents a solo exhibition, borrowing from TV science fiction in exploring a built & human environment in an imaginary post-apocalyptic world. Taking the form of architectural installations, Mark hopes to imagine how to start a new way of surviving in re-configured social structures and an ecologically altered environment. Parking is available at the Fairgreen CarPark off Circular Road or in the County Council Grounds, Railway Street. Solstice Arts Centre requests that our patrons refrain from parking in the residential area (St Finian’s Terrace) beside the centre. Please note that you may be required to pay for parking.
