ÖLFLEX SOLAR XLS cables are double insulated cross-linked solar cables which are in addition halogen-free and flame retardant. Beside the extended temperature range the cross-linked compound materials achieve best values concerning weather-, ozone-, UV- and abrasion resistance. ® ÖLFLEX SOLAR XLS cables are developed for outdoor use for the individual connection of solar panels among themselves and for connection with the inverter.

Lapp GmbH has more than 50 years' experience in the field of developing and manufacturing cable and wire products, connectors and system accessories. Our products are used all over the world and have an excellent reputation. In accordance with our current general delivery terms (AGBs), U.I Lapp GmbH offers a guarantee of up to 25 years starting from the date the customer receives the particular product. If we are responsible for the fault, we will ensure that replacement material with a similar function is sent to the business address of the U.I. Lapp GmbH contracting party.

Guarantee terms and conditions Dated: July 2009 The guarantee applies under the following conditions: 1. The products were appropriately transported and stored upon delivery. 2. The products were only used for their intended purpose. 3. The products were properly installed and commissioned by a specialist in accordance with applicable regulations and using the best available technology. 4. The products were used within the permissible parameters. Scope of the guarantee: For the period following the expiration of the statutory guarantee—no more than 25 years after the customer received the product—we guarantee exclusively in the event of faults that free replacement material, for which we will bear the cost, will be sent to the business address of the U.I. Lapp GmbH contracting party. Disclaimer: The guarantee does not include any faults that have been caused as a result of one or more of the following points: 1. Vandalism and destruction or damage due to individuals or animals such as martens, rodents, termites, insects or vermin, livestock or birds. 2. Force majeure and natural disasters such as storms, flooding, lightning, deluge, fire, tornados, hurricanes, snow load damage, avalanches, landslides or other unforeseeable events. 3. Damage caused by the use of aggressive cleaning agents or other chemicals. 4. Improper use, improper maintenance, improper repairs, improper testing or alteration work. 5. Installation faults such as overly high tractive force or crushing during installation, or nonadherence to the prescribed minimum-conduction bending radii. 6. Exceedance of the maximum current and voltage strengths, in particular due to incorrect conductor cross-section design. 7. Damage due to insufficient installation procedures and general faulty cabling. 8. Damage caused by solar module malfunctions. 9. Damage caused as a result of removal from the original installation location.

Limitations: Our liability for the statutory guarantee period is defined by our general delivery terms; the most recent version of these terms is available at www.lappkabel.com. In all other respects, we are only liable in accordance with the guarantee conditions. Any other liability is excluded, provided that we have not acted in a deliberate or grossly negligent manner, we are not in significant breach of contract and we are not liable for damage to life, limb and health. Our mandatory liability in accordance with the German Product Liability Act shall remain unaffected by the aforementioned regulations. Replaced parts become the property of U. I. Lapp GmbH. Claims under the guarantee: The customer shall assert his/her claim and submit this with the original delivery note or a suitable proof of purchase and a description of the defect; the customer shall also send the rejected product to the factory at his/her own cost. Severability clause: Should a section, provision or clause of this specification or its applicability to a person or circumstance be invalid, ineffective or unenforceable, all other sections, provisions and clauses or their application shall remain unaffected; on this note, specifications shall be treated separately.
