Meets at Sociedad Compas, 14 Calle de Toledo, Quesada. We hold a Sunday Service at 11.30 a.m., a Tuesday Evening of Mediumship at 7.30 p.m. And every Thursday there is an Open Circle where you can develop your skills commencing at 7.30 p.m. Spiritual healing is available every Sunday and Tuesday after the service. Deanna Sparks will take the Divine Service on Sunday, 6th May.. On Tuesday 8th May there will be an Evening of Mediumship with Sammy Fitzsimmons. PERSONAL SECURITY......................
On Thursday 3rd May at 11:30 am in the Social Centre on Urb Marina there will be a meeting for everyone interested in personal security and also the Neighbourhood Watch. It will be attended by the Commandant of the Guardia Civil in Alicante, members of the Guardia Civil in Guardamar and members of the local police force. They will be giving advice on how to stay safe and protect yourselves. LIONS CLUB TEA PARTY..................
The beautiful Iris Gardens of Marnes will be the venue for a Lions Club Tea Party in aid of Caritas in Calpe and Benissa. The Tea Party takes place on 8th May, and due to its extreme popularity admission is by ticket only, and limited to 120 people. The party will take place between 3pm and 6pm, and tickets can be obtained by calling 629 478 007 or 96 583 4852, or email hughstewart@telefonica.net The tickets include tea and cakes, and all proceeds are going to the two Caritas Centres to buy food for needy families in the area.

The meal for 28 April has had to be re-arranged from La Dolores (the duck place) to Nandos near La Loma medical centre in Torrevieja. We have been there many times and the food is good. A FANTASTIC NIGHT OF MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT A FANTASTIC NIGHT OF MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT was Provided by The CARDENAL BELLUGA THEATRE GROUP at La Marina Sports Centre last Friday. If you didn’t make it you definitely missed a great 50’s and 60’s night down memory lane. How come we always know all the words to those golden oldies? Everyone was up jiving, twisting and jigging along just letting all their inhibitions go. What a great feeling! Many thanks to all who supported the event which raised over 300 euros. Tickets are now on sale, at the greatly reduced price of 6 euros, for our 2012 production “HERE WE GO AGAIN A NIGHT OF MUSICAL VARIETY’ on Friday May 25th at 8pm, doors open 7.30pm. SOLDIERS OFF THE STREETS APPEAL............................................
There Will Be Many Parties for a very special day on 5 June when the Queen parades with her forces etc. It is a wonderful sight and will not be repeated. Unbeknown to many people there are ex-military who have had to leave the forces for various reasons and have many problems; psychological, no job, no home, no money and nowhere to go for help. The charities need the cash immediately not in 3-6 months. It would be lovely if everyone at the parties could drop a 50 cent piece into a collection tin - not a lot of money to us but add up all the tins everywhere and it would mean so much to the charity. Be Nice in Torrevieja.................. Calling all businesses, offices, shops, bars, hotels, restaurants, sports clubs and individuals to get out for a 6km walk in the Natural Park in La Mata. “BE NICE DAY” takes place on Sunday 6th May 2012 throught the length of the Costa Blanca. The only Torrevieja event is being coordinated by the Torrevieja Costa Lions Club and all money raised will be donated to AFA Torrevieja, The Alzheimers Association and Caritas. The walk in the park starts at the information centre car park adjacent to the N332 at La Mata at 1115. It is a 6km walk in beautiful surroundings. To take part it costs only 5 euros per person, plus you can get sponsorship to help swell the funds for the two charities. Tyson is 16 months old he was found with his 2 sister in a cardboard box at only 8 weeks. He is very playful and loves to run with the other dogs. He walks well on his lead. He has been castrated, chipped and all his vaccinations are up to date.
