Duration: 3 days

Want to learn the fundamental skills to be a great BA? This course will provide you with a structured approach to business analysis and will give you the tools and techniques required to hit the ground running. This course is full of valuable material for a BA including in-depth requirements and business systems concepts, product scoping, requirements elicitation, modelling techniques such as data modelling, process modelling, use cases, business rules modelling, and requirements validation and impact analysis.

Understanding a problem – the real problem – is the role of the requirements process. Requirements discovery is no longer about producing large, unreadable (and often unread) specifications. Requirements are about understanding the needs of the people who use your solution, recognising the environment for the solution and then, delivering requirements that are concise, clear and testable in a timely manner.

Keen to know what Agile is all about? If you’re new to the Agile world and need a solid introduction to the Agile way of thinking, and doing – this course is a perfect fit. It examines the roles and responsibilities of team members working on Agile projects. It delves into the specific practices used on Agile projects, explains the theory and concepts behind the Agile approach, and prepares you to work confidently and effectively in an Agile environment.

How do you combine your analysis skills with Agile tools and techniques? If you’re a Business Analyst working on Agile projects, this course will help you understand how to operate in an Agile environment so that you’re better equipped to deliver value to your organisation. You’ll learn how to build the right products, for the right customers, at the right time while reducing waste.

Need to drive organisational efficiencies? Develop solid business process modelling skills to foster business improvement with this specialist program. During this course, you’ll learn to use a structured approach through scoping, identifying, analysing, developing and documenting business processes. We place particular emphasis on identifying metrics to support the analysis and evaluation of business processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Does your organisation provide the right information, in the right format to make informed decisions? As a Senior Business Analyst or Team Lead, you will be involved in enterprise analysis and project initiation activities, project classification, stakeholder engagement and mentoring teams, along with an expectation to provide innovative solutions. This course provides you with the skills, tools, techniques, tips and tricks to handle these often intangible issues and sets you well on your way to becoming a Senior BA.
