Game Design and Development Chair: Dr. Lundy Lewis Electronic gaming has become one of the most popular forms of entertainment in the world today. It is used also for education, training, and other serious purposes. The Bachelor of Science in Game Design and Development (GDD) prepares students to succeed in this rapidly expanding field. Students complete the business core and a set of required GDD courses which give them a solid preparation for entry into the electronic gaming industry. Students also select GDD electives in order to enhance their background in this relatively new career field and to focus their particular interests in the gaming industry. Students may concentrate their GDD electives in Interactive Storytelling, Visual and Audio Design, Game Development, Psychology and Marketing of Games, or Game Production and the Business of Gaming.
