+Sustainability Treehouse, Nov.2011-Jan.2012 Summit-Bechtel Reserve, West Virginia A two-room learning center is part of the masterplan for the Boy Scouts’ 2013 Jamboree campus and highadventure base. I joined the team to see the project through Construction Documents and most significantly worked to flesh out details, tighten up graphics, and coordinate finishes with parallel design teams to ensure legibility of all buildings on the campus +Nelson-Atkins Pavilion Competition, Dec.2011 Kansas City, MO BNIM’s entry for the World’s Fair Artifacts Pavilion interprets contemporary space as both multi-locational and rooted. I was active in the process from concept through presentation, including working with consultants in urban farming. +EPA Region 7 Headquarters, Jan.-Oct.2012 Lenexa, KS On the team (of variably 3 to 7) overseeing the conversion of BNIM’s 185,000 sf Applebee’s Training Center into the new home for the EPA, I was involved from 50% Construction Documents through occupancy. Co-Director Front/Space Studio Sep.2010-Present Kansas City, MO Currently led by two architecture grads, a writer, an IT consultant, and a printmaker, this collaborative project space’s mission is to allow new artists to have a low-stakes, highprofile chance to challenge their works’ presentation to and relationship with gallery space. +Zine Dream, Sep/Oct.2012 I led the design and construction of interior spaces to display, shelve, produce, read, and discuss small publications. Funded in part by Bread!KC’s “Toast.” +Self-Schematics, Oct.2010 With printmaker Lindsay Deifik, I desiged and built armitures for displaying her 5’x3’ cut-paper lithographs.

5th Year Studio

Kansas City Design Center 2010-2011 Kansas City, MO 16 students created and published an Urban Vision Plan for Kansas City’s West Bottoms while working with and funded by business stakeholders. The plan outlined options in an area that is in transition from its traditionally industrial single-use.
