Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the ranking of a website, so as to make it appear in the top few websites of the results that are shown when a relevant keyword is typed in the search bar of a search engine (e.g. Google Search). A higher ranking is likely to result in an increase in the number of views that the website attracts.
