Cleaning

Clean with Standox Silicone Remover.

Sanding

Sand the damaged area using a sanding machine suitable for the MicroRepair method. Then clean again. If damage goes through to bare metal, use 1K Fullprimer before next stage.

Applying filler & drying

Mask the area. Apply Standox 2K HS Filler. Infrared or oven dry.

Intermediate sanding

Sand the area. Then clean with Standohyd Cleaner.

Additional information Gun set up: 1.1–1.2 mm at 1–1.5 bar Basecoat application: Thin with 15% deionised water and apply to opacity. Using Colour Blend: Mix 1 : 1 with Standohyd basecoat. Using Smart Blend or Smart Blend Mild: Mix 5 : 1 with activated Standox HS Repair Clear.

Cleaning

Final cleaning with an antistatic, dust removing cloth.

Applying basecoat

Apply Standohyd Basecoat to opacity and blend with Colour Blend if necessary.

Applying clearcoat & drying

Apply 2K HS Repair Clear over basecoat, then blend in using Standox 2K Smart Blend or Smart Blend Mild. Infrared or oven dry.

Polishing

Final polishing with the spot polishing machine.
