8 Security a concern but little willingness to act Computer security experts around the world will be nodding sagely at the results of the SmartCompany Technology Survey because respondents are worried about technology… but only a bit. Slightly under 58% of respondents said they were not concerned about the security of their mobile devices and 42% admitted to having some worries. The biggest concerns were around hacking and unauthorised access (79.2% of respondents who were concerned about security), loss of confidential data (69.4% of respondents), loss or theft of the device (56.7%) and viruses (55.3%).
