WELCOME FROM THE VICE RECTOR

The Rev. Ken Brannon

We are growing in our understanding of discipleship at Saint Michael. At its heart, discipleship means following Jesus, shaping our lives after his, and relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is a lifelong journey that strengthens not only our own faith but also the lives of those around us.

This fall, we will invite you to make commitments in three of our four pillars of discipleship: giving, serving, and praying.

(We will focus on learning in fall 2027.)

Giving means faithfully sharing our financial resources, recognizing that God’s gifts are meant to bless both the Church and our community. Serving means offering our time and talents, whether within Saint Michael or beyond its walls, to meet the needs of others. Praying includes both personal prayer and gathering for worship, deepening our relationship with God while witnessing to those seeking hope and purpose.

As you look ahead to the fall, begin considering how God may be calling you to grow through giving, serving, and praying. Watch for opportunities and resources in the coming weeks to help you take your next step in discipleship.
