Concept Statement: The intention was to create a serene home. I wanted to create a space that is tranquil and allows you to feel relaxed and happy. To obtain this result, the house was positioned to allow the rising sun to penetrate the entire home and give you views of the mountains from anywhere in the house.

Hypothesis Office Design Project Concept statement: The concept behind my design is energy and efficient floorplan layout. My strategy is to use bold patterns, pops of color, and to layout the spaces based on the adjacency to the core elements. To achieve this, angled walls, open flowing work areas, and materials that evoque a rustic and lively feel will be implemented.

Pop-Up Restaurant Project Concept statement: To create a unique and captivating dining experience that promotes community involvement, well being, and acts as an example to show people what sustainable and purposeful design is.

Mission Satement: To provide trnsparency within the pop-up restaurant about where the food comes from, how it is sourced, and what is used to make each dish. I also want to give back to the community and nature by providing free cooking classes and training to the homeless. I will provide paid cooking classes for the general public. There will be a composting system to discard unusable food waste, among other sustainable techniques. Because we take many resources from nature and don’t really give back.

This painting was created at a “Painting with a twist� session. I used techniques given by the instructor to create my interpretation of a tree during the fall. I blended 3 different colors to create the background.

This painting is called “Nafea Faa Iopiop” which means “when will you marry?” The painting is by Gauguin. He traveled to Tahiti in 1891. He painted many pictures of native women, as in this one. The painting on the right is my abstract interpretation of the painting.

Concept: LGBTQ homeless shelter Concept statement: The concept is connections. Creating connections is vital to human health and well being. LGBTQ homeless youth and young adults lack them in every way. The services and collaborative spaces in this facility will enable and encourage them to build those realtionships so they may gain strength and empowerment through eachother. every individual has intrinsic beauty and power, but together we have so much more. Client: This facility will serve youth from ages16 - 24. Some of whom will be trained to work at the shake shop on the first floor.
