Swimming not only helps me in physical strength, but also mentally. Getting better at swimming allows me to become more healthy and physically fit. By doing so, my mental state will be a lot calmer and supposedly help with my studies.

There are a lot of planning that needs to be done in the Student Council. Firstly through creating proposals which is an essential skill when proposing an idea. Then to the organization of the events proposed and also the execution of the events themselves. These are the reason why Student Council is appealing, it helps me engage and use those skills which I find useful

I’ve been involved in GINDO since the beginning of the movement. I’ve see growth in the movement and would like to be part of it. I’ve seen some big dedication by the members and these always turn out as something rewarding, like a huge national conference that brings hundreds of like-minded students together.

The project takes on a new approach on presenting news and knowledge to the youth. It need commitment for me as an editor to go through the different article and making sure that they’re appropriate and enjoyable to read. A

Swimming takes a long time to master and to enjoy. I’ve been doing swimming to explore the challenges faced when trying to master techniques of swimming. Once a technique is mastered, the swim becomes more enjoyable and less tiring. This is a good new skill development for me to be able to enjoy sports and get its benefits as well.

I believe through learning new skills in movie making, I can immerse myself in the fantasy that reality can’t offer. This will hopefully bring entertainment to both myself and my viewers.

Toy photography is a very interesting type of photography which I deeply enjoy. I believe there are a lot more to toys than they are. Photography can bring souls to these non-living things and bring them the joyous looking that somewhat brings content to the hearts that saw it. The skills required to do that is what I’m aiming to learn, since I enjoy collecting figures and also sharing my pictures to the world.

As the head of internal affairs in the group, I have taken a huge new challenge. Firstly the fact that I have to go through a lot of articles each week and edit them without changing the style of the writer or alter the meaning behind what they are saying. I also have to collaborate with new people from different schools, interact with politicians and attend important events with some huge political figureheads.

This activity poses different challenge on its own. Each year, new students enroll and new cabinet is made. The challenge is to create the best possible events for the students and getting them approved. Sometimes this can be tricky, and by joining the group, I’ve encountered some of these situation. It helps to know what to do in those situation.

GINDO also gets to ethical issues since we’re discussing global issues. Ethical implications are essential to the success of the conference. This is because as a national conference we need to be able to include everyone and consider their ethical backgrounds. The issues that we solve takes ethical implications into account. It also helps me open my mind to different perspectives and how people view things.

Publishing a bi-weekly online magazine requires me to be able to see the ethical implications of the article. I need to make sure they’re not offensive and if it’s a critic, it needs to be a constructive critic. This helps my language skills and communication skills as well, which will be useful in the near future when communicating with people from all around the world.
