indirect benefit to commercial development is that the Highway 100 extension will be a catalyst for housing and commercial development along the route. • FINALLY, our City Planners showed not only how to “plan our work,” but also how to “work the plan.” At one of the daily news conferences, I told Mayor Corbett and Mr. Pomeranz that this was a very calm and deliberate disaster recovery process. Because of excellent monitoring and prediction systems, we had three days to make preparations for the flood waters. Hats off to city staff for working on plans for the last eight years so that, when needed, they could be implemented in a calm and organized manner. SO WHAT IS NEXT? We at

Skogman Commercial need to “return to normal” with the rest of the community, and help our clients to buy, sell and lease real estate. We will continue our efforts to support the city to provide permanent flood protection. We trust you will do so as well when the opportunity arises.
