Responsible for managing projects and staff assigned to the Office of Assignments and Billing within University Housing and Residential Life including supervision of 4 Housing Services Coordinators, 1 OffCampus Housing Coordinator, 1 Marketing Services Coordinator, 1 Customer Service Representative, and 15 student workers Responsible for assignments and billings for approximately 5,700 undergraduate students in nine residence facilities, 230 graduate students in one facility, and meal plans for over 12,000 students Implemented aggressive occupancy management strategies to achieve efficient use of space while providing high levels of student service These strategies helped to maintain occupancy levels above 98% and totaling over $65 million in housing revenue and $15 million in meal plan revenue consistently over an eleven year period

Implemented industry leading best practices in assignments and marketing including a robust social media strategy, online housing selection, and an online roommate matching network for students Recognized in 2016 and 2017 by the national Association for College of University Housing Officers International (ACUHO-I) organization with awards for outstanding marketing programs

Coordinated the development of all print and web-based marketing materials for University Housing and Residential Life, the Dean of Students, and the Division of Student Affairs Supported enrollment management efforts with key University offices such as Admissions, Orientation, Student Financial Services, Financial Aid, and Office of International Affairs Annually recorded and provided statistics regarding enrollment and occupancy trends Proposed strategic plans for the management of occupancy levels for future capacity needs Coordinated all University Housing and Residential Life customer service efforts related to the management of telephone, web inquiries, and office visitors utilizing University CRM tool Remedy Responsible for designing and implementing the following administrative processes: Annual Housing Selection Process for new and returning students, Cancellation & Release Process, Room Change Periods, Summer School housing, Break and Transition housing, and Meal Plan changes

OPERATIONS  Supported the development of the Occupancy Management Task Force collaborating with the offices of Residential Life, Maintenance Operations, Finance & Accounting, and Assignments and Billing  

Planned and executed policies and procedures for the Annual Housing Selection Process for 6,000 on-campus residents 

Co-Chaired Task Force; 2009-2013, 2015-2018. Worked on the development of Standard Operating Procedures for annual fall move-in, room change process, break housing, annual closing, and transitional housing

Partnered with Residential Life and the Living Learning Community (LLC) Programs, the Office of Disability Resources and Services, and the Athletics Office to outline space needs and assignment processes and procedures for the annual process for students interested in special housing options Outlined timeline and operational tasks needed for Assignments, Billing and Technology for annual housing selection process utilizing Residential Management System (RMS) housing software; continue to develop innovative online housing selection solutions for students such as online housing selection, online Room Changes, and submitting online requests and self-assignments utilizing the Mercury Platform

Currently serving as a member of the Star Rez Implementation Team at Temple University scheduled to launch in August, 2018

MARKETING AND BRANDING  Supported the University’s Admissions office by promoting housing services on campus during fall Open House and spring Experience Temple programs  Developed an annual Integrated Marketing Communications plan totaling over $150,000 including print, video production and online marketing activities used to generate demand for housing services  Partnered with the University’s Strategic Marketing Communications department to develop marketing materials for University Housing and Residential Life for housing selection, move-in and other departmental branding efforts  Managed three (3) graphic designers and one (1) Coordinator for Marketing Services  Managed website migration to new Drupal Content Management system in spring 2014 and currently manage web content for departmental website STUDENT AFFAIRS EXPERIENCE  Served as a member of Temple University’s Good Neighbor Initiative (http://goodneighbor.temple.edu) and worked to develop branding and promotional materials for increased awareness of program  Co-Chaired the Student Affairs Website and Drupal Migration Committee; February - October, 2015  Created Annual Values Awards Program for the Division of Student Affairs; Committee Chair 2009 - 2014  Initiated and developed programs for improving the branding activities of the Division of Student Affairs and strategic planning communications  Chair, Division of Student Affairs Marketing and Branding Committee Fall 2009 – Spring 2010 • Fall 2012 to Spring 2016  Co-Chair, Division of Student Affairs Web Communications Task Force Fall 2011 – Spring 2012 • Spring 2015 to Fall 2015 Led initiative to re-brand 13 department websites in the Student Affairs portfolio
