The 6th Edition Event Program

6th edition premier motoring event

Dear Automotive Enthusiast I’m pleased to invite you to the 6th annual Tanzania Automotive Festival, 11th – 13th October, 2013 at the TAZARA Grounds, Dar es Salaam. Tanzania. From 9am – 7pm with this year’s being Defensive Driving IS the Key to road safety. This year’s event is a built up from last year’s 5th event at Mlimani City Mall, that served as a continuation of series of automotive festivals in Tanzania. The show will continue to deliver high-level, cutting edge program. Numerous networking avenues will be available for stakeholders to share ideas and learn of new products, technologies and solutions for individual needs. Stakeholders from franchised, commission agents and service providers alike all meet in a more relaxed atmosphere that gives ample room for Business 2 Business talk on our introduced V.I.P lounge and B2C interactions offered by exhibitions. The Tanzania Automotive Festival 2013 (TAF) has new additions to event proceedings by adding more visitor interactive programs with exhibitors many thanks to IPSOS for making this possible. Any information needed from visitors can easily be obtained instantly by deployed technology. Theater of dreams presented by SAMSUNG offers an avenue to visual insights in the motoring industry yet adverts by participants are showcased. As we come together we need not forget to reflect the industry’s role and contribution to the national economy and the war we all have to fight for fake sub standards parts and products available in our country. We remain open to inputs that better position Auto Fest as the premier automotive event in Tanzania. We look forward to working with you on TAF’14 and developing more avenues that would best liven the motoring industry in Tanzania. For business taking part it is our hope that Auto Fest compliments your marketing plan and help achieve your sales and marketing initiatives. We look forward to working with you on a great event! Bring your whole family to Enjoy the wonders of motor ingenuity.

1,860 kilometers of progress

The Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority, is a bi-national railway, jointly owned by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania and the Government of the Republic of Zambia on an equal share-holding basis. The railway runs from Dar es Salaam into the heart of Zambia’s Central Province, terminating at New Kapiri-Mposhi, where it is further linked by road and rail to Zambia’s capital city, Lusaka (about 200km). Our core business is freight and passenger railway transportation services. TAZARA is a major transporter of minerals out of Zambia and the DRC, but also conversely serves as a key conduit for all kinds of bulk imports from all over the world, In terms of passenger transportation, TAZARA not only eases mobility for some of the most disadvantaged rural communities in Tanzania and Zambia, but also provides a public railway service that is very predictable, reliable, safe and convenient. Amongst the million passengers that throng TAZARA every year between the two neighbourly and friendly countries are thousands of tourists that have conveniently shaped a triangular tour-circuit that takes them through Tanzania, Malawi and Zambia in one tourist sprint, luxuriating in some of the most unique and spectacular tourism opportunities the world can offer.
