STRIDE GUM Stride gum first launched in Canada in 2008. Since its introduction, the brand had been fairly successful marketing it's gum to teens 13-18. Their off the wall creative focused on a functional proposition, that Stride Gum is ridiculously long lasting. However, the Stride brand team believed the gum could only go so far with it’s functional positioning. They needed something that could create an emotional connection, and so emerged the core message: Stride Fuels non-stop nonsense. But this wasn’t enough. Stride also needed an idea that could cut through the clutter of an overwhelming gum market. It was this insight that brought us to our big idea: The Stride Madness Campaign
