Hadlow Garden Day Nursery newsletter – July/August 2013

The Under 2’s room. We have been busy burning off our energy on the soft play and exploring in the new tracks and chalk boards in the garden. We have enjoyed dressing up and having picnics in the garden, and especially picking the new flowers, as well as getting very mucky making sandcastles and sand pictures.

The 2’s - 3’s room. We have been enjoying the lovely weather in the garden and learning how to use the climbing wall, we have enjoyed walking down to the library, getting some special books to bring back and read. We’ve been getting very messy doing fruit and sponge painting as well as making our pasta necklaces. The pre-school room. We have been very busy this term; and have been so excited getting ready for and visiting our new schools, to celebrate we had our special graduation ceremony, which we made special hats for it and our families came too see us. We have had loads of fun exploring the garden and racing each other on the race track, especially when we found a hedgehog in the hedge and named him Henry; he was so very prickly. The children have also been exploring their environment with the magnifying glasses and handling their stick insects.
