Visiting Artist Lectures & Workshops

The McIntyre Hall Presents series includes entertaining and educational programs for general audiences. All of the artists presented are professional touring artists and are often international, award winning artists. Whenever possible, McIntyre Hall Presents artists provide educational workshops, lectures, master classes, and other enrichment opportunities. Performances are often preceded/followed by lectures, workshops, and Q & A. When possible, enrichment materials are made available. Arts Alive!

Through this series of educational & interactive workshops, area youth engage in the artistic process and cultivate an appreciation of the performing arts. Each workshop focuses on a different type of performing arts dance, theater, and music. Student workshops are for students 7-12 years old. The workshops are $5 and include a SUNDAE after the event. YouTheatre

Educators - YouTheatre is a series of school time performances by professional artists from around the world aimed at providing arts/cultural experiences and enriching school curriculum. Study guides are available for most performances. Programs include special events, music, dance and/or theater performances, and are culturally, academically, and curriculum based. Grades K-12

Internships

Internships are customized to maximize educational and career goals. Students may apply several times during the year for open positions. Call 360.416.7622 for more information. Internships are offered to college students in the areas of: Technical Theater, Communications & Marketing, Fundraising & Grant Writing, Catering, and Customer Service.
