Tiger Tracks Last Call for a Coach We still have not found an additional coach for the spring sports season. If you can coach either girls soccer or boys volleyball, please contact Mr. Webb ASAP. Even if you’re not an expert, you can still have a great time with the kids. If we do not have a coach by Friday, we will cancel the boys volleyball

season, and Mr. Webb will coach the girls soccer team.

Scrip Orders Due Friday Please order your scrip cards by Friday. They will be available for pickup in the office next week. Use this link to access the scrip order page, or type in the link on your browser: current/support_scrip.htm

No School Monday School is not in session on Monday, 3/31. This is a records day for teachers to finish their grades and comments from Quarter 3. Preschool and Extended Care will still be available for our students.

Teacher Tales Check this section each week for exciting stories of teachers doing great things in the classrooms of San Jose Christian School. SJCS Teachers CUE UP Their Learning Last week, five of our teachers attended the Computer Using Educators (CUE) Annual Conference in Palm Springs with 5,300 other teachers from all over the state. Mrs. Coetsee, Mrs. DenOuden, Ms. Diephouse, Mrs. Hendricks, and Mrs. Webb all had the chance to learn from some of the best Ed Tech minds in the country about how technology can be a tool for making education a richer experience for students and teachers alike. From Puppets to Keynote, Digital Portfolios to Google Apps, Literacy Activities to Math Engagement--our teachers came back with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to share it with the rest of the faculty. Mrs. DenOuden and Ms. Diephouse even presented a session on their own experiences with technology: “Google Apps: 30 tools, 2 Classrooms, 1 Year.” The room was packed, and it turned out to be one of the most popular presentations at the conference! Another highlight for our teachers was the special presentation of Ms. Diephouse’s Award as the California Emerging Educator of the Year at the closing keynote speech. We are grateful for teachers who love their work and want to grow in their expertise. Way to go ladies!

Standing room only for Ms. Diephouse and Mrs. DenOuden’s Session!
