Classes and Treatments offered by Soumya HATHA YOGA ―Hatha‖ comes from the Sanskrit work meaning ―haSun‖ and ―tha- Moon.‖ It unites pairs of opposites referring to the positive (sun) and negative (moon) currents in our system. What most people think of when it comes to ―Yoga‖ is Hatha.
YOGA FOR STRESS RELIEF This Yoga is a very peaceful, relaxing open-class for anyone seeking nothing rigorous or demanding. As the world has many stress points in our lives, this class is excellent for beginners and newcomers.
MEDITATION Clearing the mind and body involves connecting on seven energy points in the human aura field. This class clears the blockage in our aura system connecting the mental, emotional and spiritual levels.
„The Body & Mind“ PRIVATE CLASSES Soumya is available six days of the week. She hosts various classes (both Mixed and Lady-only) for couples and singles interested in progressing on an individual level. All group classes are available as a Private or Couple Session: All Sessions
YOGA THERAPY If you have any long-term pain or stiffness in the body, Soumya will assist you in using Yoga Therapy to aid you to recovery. Therapeutic Yoga is highly adaptable to accommodate the needs of different conditions and physical abilities. It can be used to treat someone in a wheelchair with adapted poses, as well as active teens with sports injuries. PRANAYAMA (BREATHING TECHNQIUE) This art of Yoga breathing promotes bringing more oxygen to the blood and to the brain, in control of vital life energy. As breathing is part of our normal lives, the oxygen we inhale purifies our system. This session is also a very relaxing way to deal with life’s stress points.
This ancient, tantric method opens a new capacity of the mind, rendered a s ―Yogic Sleep.‖ Combining meditation the body is set into a sleep-like state that occurs with some practice putting the mind at peace.
Working on the mental and physical conditions, it utilizes posture, breath-work, meditation and recovery to help injuries and illnesses
