Having this moment of unstructured time after the pressures and rush of Kenyon has been an unexpected chance to rediscover old passions. So far, that has mostly involved hours of reading, long, rambling phone calls and walks in the woods by my house. As the country revolts in the face of never-ending injustice, I am grateful to have the time to try and hold this government accountable. At Kenyon, through my involvement in a variety of groups including BSU, SoCA, the Cas, and especially among the members of Sisterhood, I found community and solace. Older students in those organizations taught me how to advocate for myself and others, a skill I hope to continue using to empower womxn worldwide.”
