BIRCH DIY As mentioned before, birch has traditionally been connected to the arrival of spring. But even with winter coming to our part of the world right now, there’s nothing wrong with bringing a little air of spring into your home. My personal birch connection is through Siberia, and since many people connect Siberia with winter, it again makes it a perfect fit. So to save you money on both a flight to Siberia and/or expensive furniture and decorations, we have compiled several birch-based DIY ideas for you in collaboration with three blogs: Gingered Things, mein feenstaub, and Puppenzirkus.
If you don’t want to buy birch at a home improvement store, you can just collect your materials on your next walk through the woods. Make sure to only take dead branches or trees, i.e. those which are lying on the ground, both for your own safety and for the environment!
