2023 - Sawblades

Some tips for working with multi-ripping saws A) When operating with a multi-rip saw the use of shoulder saw blades is very important (Items FG). Positioned as the first blade on the machine side they allow, especially during heavy-duty processing or working uneven timber, that the forces have a proper distribution. B) The use of rakers is highly recommended to avoid the saw blade rubbing on the wood, causing overheating and friction which can damage the saw blades. C) If the machine spindle has only one keyway it is highly recommended not to use saw blades having two to avoid any unbalanced coupling. D) Keyways of the saw blades and machine spindle are best coupled when they have the same dimensions.
