Procedure A : Make sure the guest account is enable Step 1: Go to “Start”, Right click “Computer”, Select “Manage”

Step 2: Select “Local Users and Groups” and Select “Users”

Step 3: Right click “Guest”, Select “Properties”

Step 4: Make sure account is enable (normally by default is disabled)

B : Check the advanced sharing, make sure the setting is correct Step 1: Go to “Open Network and Sharing Center”

Step 2: Select “Change advanced sharing settings”

Step 3: at “Home or Work” and “Public” Make sure “Network discovery”, Select “Turn on network discovery” Make sure “File and printer sharing”, Select “Turn on file and printer sharing” Make sure “Public folder sharing”, Select “Turn on sharing so…” Make sure “Password protected sharing”, Select “Turn on password protected sharing”

C : If problem still persists: Step 1: Go to “Start”, key in “GPEDIT.MSC” and Click enter

Step 2: Go to “Windows Settings”, Select “Security Settings”, Select “Local Policies”, Select “Security Options” Find “Network access: Sharing and security model for local accounts” Right click , Select “Properties”

Step 3: at tab “Local Security Settings”, select “Guest only…” and click “OK”

D : Last Step: Step 1: Click “Start” , “Run”, type secpol.msc, click ‘Enter’

Step 2: Click “Local Policies”

Step 3: Click “User Rights Assignment”

Step 4: Click “Access this computer from the network”, make sure “everyone” group is included

Step 5: Click “Deny access to this computer from the network”, make sure “Everyone” group and “Guest” account are NOT included.
