SensiDO Trillion Tones is hybrid color that is not just a direct dye, demi/semi or permanent color, but all of the above. SensiDO Trillion Tones is direct dye based PPD-free hair color that can also be used as a permanent color. This allows you to do all the colorings: anything from grey coverage, pastels, vibrant jewel tones, permanent lift/deposit on virgin hair, natural blonde, brunette and red shades...you name it! SensiDO Trillion Tones –concept is a compact color line that offers every hair stylist an opportunity to go beyond any boundaries. Color line includes 5 intense and 5 pastel tones, as well as a white tone that allows to formulate trillions of tones for virgin, processed and even grey hair. SensiDO Trillion Tones challenges stylists across the world to create stunning colors! Three key components Direct dyes, alkaline and developer. Direct dyes allow to easily and quickly create trillions of different shades, with imagination being the only limit. Ammonia containing alkaline helps pigments penetrate deeper into the hair shaft, as well as boosts the lightening process by acting as a catalyst when mixed with hydrogen peroxide containing developer. Alkaline also contains color enhancer that improves hair color endurance and intensity. Additionally it protects hair during coloring process and adds a brilliant shine. Peroxide causes oxidation, the released oxygen lightens hair’s natural melanin and creates longer lasting color.

H Y B R I D C O LO R I N S T R U C T I O N S SensiDO Trillion Tones is a new type of hair color, which through mixing direct dyes with ammonia containing non-pigmented alkaline and hydrogen peroxide containing developer, it can be used as a permanent hair color. This method makes it possible to even color virgin and grey hair without pre-lightening or processing them. Direct dyes can also be used without alkaline or developer, making them a classic direct dye. Hair’s natural base will affect the end result, color does not remove the color already present in the hair, but adds new color to it. All shades can be mixed with each other. White can be used to make shade lighter. Attn! Intensive blue shade should not exceed 1/3 of total color mass. FIRST STEP, ANALYZE HAIR Is it virgin or processed hair, darkness, shade, does it need to be pre-lightened to achieve the desired result or can it be achieved just by using the hybrid color? USE AS PERMANENT COLOR Recommended to be used on virgin, grey or previously colored hair (not bleached hair) Use

Mix the color: Create a color mix of your choice by using components A. Note: should you use blue in the hybrid color, drop the final amount to one third to see the final tone - when you are satisfied with the tone, add the remaining 2/3 of blue to the color mass. Tip: Should you wish the blue intensity to remain, add 5–10% red vs. the amount of blue. Add components B and C, see the table for the recommended strengths and amounts. (Alkaline affects the intensity of blue.) Application: Evenly mix the hair color and apply to hair. Processing time is 20–50 minutes depending on the desired end result (see chart). USE AS SEMI/DEMI PERMANENT COLOR Recommended to be used on virgin and previously colored or bleached hair Mix the color: Create a color mix of your choice by using components A. Add small amounts of components B and C. The more you add, the closer it gets to permanent color; the less you add, the closer it gets to direct dye. Application: Evenly mix the hair color and apply to hair. Recommended processing time is 20–30 minutes. USE AS DIRECT DYE Recommended to be used on previously colored or bleached hair Mix the color: Create a color mix of your choice by using components A; what you see is what you get. Application: Evenly mix the hair color and apply to hair. Recommended processing time is 20 minutes.

When coloring grey hair or darkening hair you will need three colors: Black and Red for base, and either Brown for natural shades or Blue for very cold black shade. • Black will bring enough darkness to the tone • Red pre-pigments the hair • Brown or blue brings the desired tone • Yellow will lighten the hue, so it is not recommended for the darkest shades

USEFUL TIPS Intense-tones

Intense Yellow: Allows to create vivids, as well as natural copper shades. Yellow color pigments will help you bring warmth to cool shades.

Intense Blue: Allows to create vivids. With the help of intense blue, red and black, you will achieve cool, intense black even in completely white hair.

Intense Red: By mixing intense red with other shades you can create all orange, purple, mahogany and red brown variations. Intense red will add a nice tone to black hair.

Intense Brown: The combination of brown and yellow color pigments allows to create a versatile coppers’ palette. By mixing brown and red color pigments you will achieve intense red-brown shades.

Intense Black: Intense black color pigment helps deepen and darken any shade. Black and brown allow to create custom natural shades.

Pastel-tones // Pastel-tone intensity is 20% of Intense-tones.

Pastel Yellow: Pastel yellow allows to create fresh orange, peach and apricot shades, as well as stunning green tones.

Pastel Blue: Mix pastel blue and white together to achieve various nuances of turquoise. Mixing pastel blue and yellow will result in a beautiful green shade. By combining pastel blue, red and black, you can successfully neutralize the orange nuances from hair.

Pastel Red: Pastel red helps create beautiful pink, rose golds and delicious candy colors. Pastel red can also result as a vivid shade in completely blonde hair.

Pastel Brown: Pastel brown in combination with any other pastel color allows to create any natural blonde shade from copper to different hues of sand.

Pastel Black: Pastel black color pigment helps to easily create various grey nuances, as well as neutralizing tones when mixed with red. Black and brown allow to create natural blonde shades.

ATTN! Intense Blue and Pastel Blue turn green due to chemical reaction when mixed with alkaline and developer. Color application can be started as soon as the components are mixed, green will turn back to blue in a matter of minutes. The color will be the same as the initial pigment mixture.

H O W T O I M P R OV E H A I R C O LO R R E T E N T I O N • After coloring hair surface changes from hydrophobic to hydrophilic, in other words from water-repellent to water loving, due to the removal of scalp and hair protecting oils. Post-oxidation period lasts up to 48 hours, during which time it is recommended to avoid washing hair, going to sauna or taking a bath. A couple of days after hair processing, hair surface cuticles close, dramatically improving hair color retention. • The sun visibly effects color fading process, always remember to use hair products that contain UV-protection. • Use products developed particularly for colored hair care and avoid deep-cleansing products. • Wash hair with lukewarm water. • Protect hair when swimming from chlorine or when going to sauna. • Apply heat protection products when using for example hair dryer or straightener. • Remember that different shades can fade differently; for example blue adheres particularly well to processed hair, while red is very long lasting in virgin hair.

AF TER PIGMENT REMOVER

Transformation by Annelie Lövgren.

BEFORE

PIGMENT REMOVER Now you can remove Trillion Tones direct dyes with ease Many admire vivid and rainbow-colored hair. They are also concerned about how the hair will look when these colors fade. Blue direct dye pigment in particular, is known to penetrate deep into hair and be more challenging to fade compared to other direct pigments, oftentimes resulting in blue-green faded shades. It can also be challenging to remove and until now the best trick to remove the faded blue was to cover it with a complementary pigment. To solve this problem, we have developed SensiDO Trillion Tones Pigment Remover that will help you fade and remove Trillion Tones direct dyes quickly and safely. It also works to effectively remove SensiDO Match direct dyes. Infused with oil to protect hair during treatment. Perfume free and vegan. Size 500 ml. Use: Shake the Pigment Remover bottle, until the liquid inside turns almost white. Mix 1 part of bleaching product with 7 parts of Pigment Remover. Apply generously on dry or towel-dried hair. Process for 45 minutes. Heat (37 ° C / 98.60 ° F) can be used. It is recommended to work the mixture into the hair and, if needed increase the mass during the processing time. Rinse with warm water, wash with shampoo and use a conditioner. Wear protective gloves.
