EmilyHart Bridal is not your average bridal shop. Evidence of this can be seen on the shop’s Instagram account, which is full of pictures of brides holding a sign that says, “She said yes!” Yes to the dress, that is. EmilyHart Bridal, located at 12450 Blue Valley Parkway in Overland Park, carries a wide array of gown styles and sizes for brides, bridesmaids, f lower girls, and mothers of the bride. “When I shop, I love to look for items that are unique and different from what everyone else has,” says owner Emily Brown. “I want to offer the same experience to my brides. I want them to know that when they purchase something from me, they won’t find it anywhere else in the city and it will be as individual as they are.” The shop carries many top bridal designers, including Emmaline, a line sold nationally and internationally and designed and manufactured by Brown herself. Most bridal designers do not make any custom changes or alterations, but Brown can change an Emmaline gown just about any way you can think of. There is even a team on-site that does alterations. “I have so much fun designing each season’s new collection,” Brown shares. “The designs are inspired by what my current brides are asking for, whether it’s lace, sleeves, or low backs.”

For a business that advertises mainly via word-of-mouth, EmilyHart Bridal is definitely getting noticed.
