Many of our Indian alumni hold leading positions in government, academia, and industry. In fact, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh holds an honorary doctorate from the U of A. Our faculty has strong expertise related to India; we are the home of the Singhmar Chair in Classical Indian Polity and Society.

In addition to our general undergraduate scholarships, we offer several scholarships just for students applying from India: • U of A India Centenary Scholarship ($20,000) • U of A India Select High School Scholarship (up to $10,000) • U of A India Excellence Scholarship ($3,000)

What do you want to study? In Canada, “undergraduate studies” refers to bachelor programs while “graduate studies” refers to Master’s and doctoral programs.
